International Ramayana Institute of North America is a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Ramayana, one of the largest ancient epics in world literature, narrates the life of Rama, the legendary prince of Kosala kingdom. It highlights the duties of relationships, portraying ideal characters like the ideal father, the ideal servant, the ideal brother, the ideal wife and the ideal king.
IRINA, established in 1998, is dedicated to promoting and preserving the cultural significance of Ramayana in countries throughout south and south-east Asia. To that end, it has been holding conferences as well as dance dramas to reach audiences in the midwest.
We need your help in order to continue to keep this heritage alive and to provide this unique cultural experience to a wider audience. Please consider making a tax-exempt donation to IRINA and/or become a volunteer with the organization.
